Custom recommendations allow you to add improvements that aren't currently available in the savings estimates from the modeling engine. You can use this to sell things like fixing a dryer vent or even a kitchen remodel. Custom recommendations are also used to get rebate approval in certain programs like NYSERDA and PSEG through their special measure codes.
