Xcel Energy is using Boulder-based Snugg Home's iAudit Pro to streamline and track all of the data collected during energy audits through the utility's Home Energy Audit program.
The utility redesigned its energy audit program to include iAudit Pro. Through the audit software's administrator interface, Xcel can track energy audit data instantly and allows the auditing program to be opened up to any qualified auditor in the state.
The number of contractors who have signed up to use the iAudit system in conjunction with Xcel's rebate program currently stands at 75.
Xcel is expected to provide rebates for approximately 2,500 energy audits per year. More than 300 audits have already performed.
