We support modeling for both Water Tank wraps and Water Tank Pipe wraps. It's important to note that these are separate measures from modeling the actual water heater(s).

From the input screen, these options show at the bottom of the water heater (DHW) section, or you can go directly to the refine screen to enter this data.

In the first section we are selecting the improved wrap types.

The lower left section of the screen shows if wrap was installed and the base R values for the tank and pipe wrap.

The lower right section shows if the Pipe wrap was improved and the details of the improvement.

This information would be repeated for a 2nd water heater.

*It is important to note that Tank Wrap cannot be modeled as a recommendation for gas fired tank water heaters as it is a fire hazard and is not recommended. Tank Wrap can only be applied on the improved side to electric tank water heaters.
