Energy Usage Data Visualization

This section of the report contains 2 pages. By default, these charts are placed after the concerns sections and before the solutions section.

The default title for both report pages is "Your Energy Use", which you have the choice of changing.

About Page 1

  • Yearly energy consumption for heating, cooling, base for now, goal and similar homes

  • Load profile for now, goal and similar home in MMBtu and percentages.

  • Energy mix by fuel type for now and goal

  • CO2 Footprint for now and goal

  • Comparison with similar homes: The similar homes figures are the typical heating, cooling, and baseload for US homes of similar location, size, age class, construction type, and occupancy to the modeled building. This can be toggled on or off from the elements menu on the report screen.

About Page 2

  • This page display weather-normalized monthly consumption in MMBtu from January to December.

  • Note that Page 2 is hidden if you select 'No bills' in the utility section of the input screen.

These charts do not replace the Utility bill section of the report.

The charts may be removed from the report if needed. Just toggle to the top of the report section to Pages, then choose to hide on the Energy Use.
