Create a Snugg Pro Audit job and the HEScore is automatically integrated, at no extra cost.

To locate the HEScore section in Snugg Pro.

  • Click on the Report button of your opened job

  • Click on the Settings button at the top of the page

  • On Settings / Pages scroll down to HES and turn on the page.

  • HES will then show at the bottom of the Active Pages of the report sidebar.

You will need to turn the HES page off or on depending on if you are providing a score for that homeowner.

Once you enter your assessor id number, the HES page will automatically move beyond the intro page and take you to Step 1.

Each type of Score - Initial, Alternative, or Final will all have their own set of instructions. As you progress through the different scores please be sure to read all instructions.

You must change the stage of the job for each score.

  • Initial score: Audit

  • Alternative score: Bid proposed, Bid approved, Retrofit in progress

  • Final score: Retrofit complete, QA

Step 1

Step 2

If you click on the the 'Fix these errors' message a new window will open for you, giving you access to all the fields that need to be touched.

DOE has requirements that certain data fields must be "touched" by the user.

An example is the Attic R values. In this test job the R values were calculated and entered into the detailed refine fields by the software according to the user's input data. DOE requires that you physically touch those fields. So in most cases you can simply type over and use the same values that are already there. On this stage it is only required to type in the base values.

At this point you will be asked to review all the data, and a preview screen is inserted for easy review.

Step 3

Once you click on the Continue button, you will see this message:

Notes:

The DOE does not like do-overs for the scores.

Please be sure that your job is accurate before requesting a score. You can review your job by clicking on the refine button to see a list of all the recommendations, savings, and SIR, and click to open each recommendation to check for accuracy. If you find that the job does have errors, please contact support to have the job reset, which will allow you to request the score again.

Keep a pdf copy of the Score.

This is just a suggestion. You might want to do a pdf of each score stage. You can't go back to get a view of the previous scores as you work through the stages. When you receive the Alternate score, it shows both the Initial score and the Alternative score on the score view page. When you get the final score - it is the only score that shows on the score view page.
